Profile: 

Diameter of the cutter head is 6.97 meters. Through silty clay, strong weathered andesite, weakly weathered andesite and weakly weathered rhyolitic tuff, the project involves in complex geological conditions covering soft clay, soft rock and hard rock formations.

Difficulty: 

It may cause high abrasion to the cutter. The average service life of the steel ring in moderately weathered rocks (30-70MPa) is about 150 meters.

Measures and effects: 

We recommended disc cutter with wedge-shaped tungsten carbide inlays, which made the boring mileage reach 750 meters.
