On February 23, the successful candidates of the investigation and design of Yong Zhou Highway Dual Line Ningbo Qijiashan to Zhoushan Jintang section were announced. 

Technical standard of two-way six-lane expressway in the section from Qijiashan in Ningbo to Jintang in Zhoushan, with a design speed of 100km/h (the design speed of the Jintang submarine tunnel section is 80m/h), and the shield tunnel scheme is used to pass through Hongyuan Road and go up under the Yongzhou Railway Tunnel to Fushan Road. The main line is equipped with 2 interchanges, including 1 hub interchange and 1 general interchange. There are 4192m/6 bridges and 11644m/1 Jintang submarine tunnel (shield outer diameter 15.7m, including 8590m of submarine shield section and 1300m of land shield section, all counted as right holes). The project is an important part of the Shanghai-Zhou-Yong cross-sea channel, and is also an important part of the five-ring and five-channel highway network in the "Zhejiang Province Comprehensive Three-dimensional Transportation Network Plan" "Nine Vertical, Nine Horizontal, Five Rings and Five Channels" expressway network, and the project has been included in the "14th Five-Year Plan for Comprehensive Transportation Development of Zhejiang Province". The project construction is of great significance to the implementation of national strategies such as the integration of the Yangtze River Delta, the promotion of high-quality development and the construction of a common prosperity demonstration zone, the promotion of the integration of Ningbo and Yongzhou, and the improvement of the sea-land linkage collection and distribution system of Ningbo Zhoushan Port.
